Job Description


This position works with a variety of internal and external customers and is an integral part of maintaining clear and consistent daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, 4+ years of full-charge bookkeeping/accounting experience and enjoy working independently in an office environment as well as working in a team environment.


Duties:

  • -Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for assigned clients on a monthly or quarterly basis;
  • -Be the liaison for assigned clients for all communications;
  • -Ability to work at client sites in the area if necessary;
  • -Ability to process payroll on various platforms;
  • -Process tax payments for clients including but not limited to payroll, sales, etc.;
  • -Assist with invoicing and collections of assigned client accounts;
  • -Assess client accounts and streamline process/procedures if possible;

Requirements:

  • -Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • -Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • -Proficient in Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online
  • -Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • -Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • -Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • -Thrives in a collaborative, team player office environment
  • -Ability to interface well with staff and external contacts of the Authority
  • -Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • -Strong organizational skills
  • -Prefer BA in Accounting
